Catching Up

Hey all!

First of all, I'd like to apologise for my silence for the past while, I've been dealing with some personal stuff and had my attention elsewhere.

Basically, there is a chance that I may be made redundant soon. If you don't know what that means, it basically like being fired, but without you having done anything wrong. Your position is no longer needed (though I'd really argue against that in my case, but hey ho). Which would obviously put quite a blow to my financials (as I'm being paid very generously at the moment for what I do). I don't want to alarm anyone, but should this occur I'm obviously going to have to slowdown in the acquisition of the artwork. I'd have to probably drop The Solarion Project (NOOOO) at least until one of the other projects finishes, and probably slow down on one of the other projects.

It's very unfortunate, but it may not even happen yet, so I'm still sort of hoping nothing comes of it!

Anyway, this has had me distract for a week or so. So I haven't been replying to your comments as much as I should, and I haven't been working as much as I should either. But I'm trying to focus from now on and just waiting for the news.

Right now, I'm not going to say my planned release (A Zombie's Life @4th Nov for Patreons)  is going to be delayed, I' m hoping it won't. But we'll see if I can't work hard to recover lost time.

I'm also hoping I can still get the Urban Demons demo out for you guys by the end of the Month, despite how rapidly that approaches. But I actually have to fly to my company's main HQ for a couple days next week. But don't worry I'm not going to disappear afterward, like a certain someone we know, eh? ;)

Also if you couldn't tell by my Trello (or if you're a $5+ patron) ScarlettAnn is working amazingly fast bringing the new art of the game. At this rate it won't take long for all the artwork I had planned to be delivered (maybe even by end of the year!?) Of course, animation takes a long time for me, so I wouldn't expect every scene she delivers by November 4th to be in the game, but I hope to get through as many as possible!

GlassFish has also been working really hard delivering busts and scenes for the game. And I have to say it's been great working with her, as she has a real enthusiasm for the project and has been brilliant at communicating. She streams every now and again (mainly on weekends I think) and provides great entertainment while doing so. I'd recommend following her on Twitter to see if you can catch her when she streams!
